MY STORY
Most of my life has been in the military and on the move, traveling to and living in a number of places in the United States and several countries around the globe. The world around us has been a thing of beauty to me and I have captured some of that beauty in my artwork. I started photography in 2003 and have found landscapes to be my favorite images to capture, although in the recent past have stretched myself to learn about and improve my skills at portraiture.
My formal education was in the field of Nursing. Photography is something I became interested in, later in life. My training in photography has been more informal; to include two non-credit college courses, classes through the Art League in Alexandria Virginia and independent study. I look forward to learning more with classes and personal experience behind the lens.
